Refurbished furnishing for an innovation hub
CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) runs locations worldwide for start-ups, tech companies and investors — including a hub in the heart of Rotterdam. In spring 2025 we delivered high-quality, sustainable furnishing for this dynamic coworking space, meeting the requirements of an international innovation ecosystem. We supplied 105 refurbished Herman Miller Aeron chairs in excellent condition along with two sound-insulated Framery O phone booths — ideal for focused work in open-plan settings. The deliberate choice of durable premium products combines design ambition, ergonomics and measurable sustainability. Our scope ran from assessing requirements and selecting products through to delivery and professional assembly on site.

The project shows that even internationally oriented workspace concepts can pursue sustainability consistently — without compromising on design, comfort or functionality.
International delivery — on time and without friction
Delivery and assembly took place within a tightly defined window, including logistics coordination and customs clearance for the Dutch location. Clear project management and well-rehearsed processes meant the project was delivered without any additional effort on the client side.
Over 50% saved — at consistent quality
Compared with buying new, the refurbished solution was around 50% more cost-efficient. The iconic Aeron chairs impressed with their ergonomics, durability and timeless design — while meeting the highest standards for value and sustainability.
