Future-proof furnishing for coworking and events

w3.hub is a modern coworking and event space in the heart of Berlin. As a creative meeting point for agencies, project teams and event organisers, it combines flexible workstations with representative spaces for workshops, events and networking formats. In 2024 we equipped the new hub building with more than 200 refurbished furniture items — including ergonomic chairs, electrically height-adjustable desks, conference tables, floor lamps and sound-insulated phone booths. The aim was to create a multifunctional environment that is inspiring, high quality and resource-efficient at the same time. Our scope ran from assessing requirements and selecting products through to delivery and professional assembly.

30 tonnes of CO₂ saved through a lived circular economy

Targeted use of high-quality refurbished furniture saved around 30.7 tonnes of CO₂. The project shows that sustainable furnishing is possible even with complex requirements such as event logistics, flexible workspace layouts and frequently changing user groups — without compromising on quality or function.

Over 40% cost saving at consistent quality

Compared with furnishing with new products, the chosen solution was around 41% more cost-efficient. Product quality, design and flexible use met every requirement — from individual workstations through meeting rooms to event spaces.

Efficient delivery across several phases

The project was delivered in stages, aligned with the start of occupancy and the progress of the building works. Structured planning and close coordination meant every area was furnished on schedule, with minimal coordination effort on the client side.
